![]() I was stunned by his response but more disappointed that I had just spent $40 for a software with flaws and a company owner who apparently could care less about his customers. Yesterday I sent him a polite email asking for a response to my last question and his response was: "Your e-mail was agressive (as is this one), so I've deleted it". After make some changes that I made, I sent him an email a week ago and never heard back. I sent an email to Ed Hamrick the owner, seems to be a one man operation, to start troubling shooting the problem and had some pleasant exchanges with him. The problem did not occur when using the scanner software, so I thought that it was something simple, perhaps an adjustment to one of the settings. When scanning a document with VueScan to the printer, lines would appear in the document. The software that came with the scanner works great for basic functions, but I need something more high end for my photos. I purchased VueScan recently to use for both basic scanning and printing of documents, and for scanning photos. I had a very disappointing customer support experience with VueScan and I like to see if others have had the same.
